Shining Star Award

Each year, every branch is encouraged to give one Shining Star award to an outstanding volunteer. If someone has really made a difference to your branch, a Shining Star award is a great way of saying thank you.

At the annual MS Christmas dinner on the 16^th December 2011

I was presented with a Shining Star Award for my commitment to MS Mondays over the last 5 years.

I must say it was a bit of a shock and a complete surprise!!

I would like to think that in accepting this Star I am accepting it on behalf of every single person who helps keep MS Mondays running each week

	BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Birthday Cake	MS MONDAYS 5^th BIRTHDAY We celebrated our 5^th Birthday on 12th September 2011 with a buffet lunch at Joiners Square. Everyone enjoyed the party atmosphere and our special thanks go to the “A Team” (Our wonderful friends in the kitchen) who put on such a fantastic spread for us.	Thanks to you All

Sunflower Competition 2011

This years Sunflower Competition was won by Jenny Ryley. Her plant grew to a height of 9ft 8ins Well done Jenny better luck next year to those who had a go!
